Roof workers and exterior contractors often have to work with thin profile sheets approximately 1 mm thick. That is why the demand for a small nibbler that is lighter and faster than those currently on the market and designed for specialized applications has been growing in European and American markets. TRUMPF took on this challenge by developing its new Profile Nibbler PN 130. In addition to its use in roof and wall construction this tool is also ideal for working with flat sheet material and has shown enormous versatility. With this new addition to the product line, TRUMPF is further expanding its technological and brand leadership when it comes to sheet-metal cutting and, at the same time, increasing its competency in producing top-of-the line profile nibblers. The new power tool can cut sheets up to 1.3 mm thickness and weighs only 1.4 kg. That is about 20 percent less than other popular nibblers on the market in the same segment and about 30 percent less than its big brothers in the TRUMPF profile nibbler series, the PN 161 and PN 200. At the same time, the compact PN 130 has an unbeatable cutting speed of 3.2 m/min which is 20 percent faster than the known top speeds of other nibblers on the market. Sheets can be cut in record time – a major benefit when it comes to cutting long sections. Its ergonomic and lean design as well as its light weight makes the PN 130 very comfortable to work with. The machine has little vibration and allows perfect maneuverability and flexibility. Thanks to the geometry of the tool carrier, the new TRUMPF profile nibbler has demonstrated enormous curve mobility that enables it to cut trapezoidal and profile sheets. The smallest radii-diameter of 25 mm also allows the tool to reach even the most awkward spots. The cutting direction is continuously variable , and any direction in its 360° range can be selected in the blink of an eye. Additional benefits: The PN 130 is the simplest nibbler on the market when it comes to changing tools. Tools can be reliably changed in seconds without additional accessories, which is particularly advantageous on building sites. The machine separates trapezoid profiles, corrugated and profile sheets as well as flat sheets up to 1.3 mm without damaging any surface treatments. Therefore, the carrier with integrated die guarantees a long tool life. |
